Connecting

Connecting with people who share our interests is important.

I’ve always been interested in natural building, so last year I jumped at the chance to learn from Kallie Hyer, pictured, who was doing a natural plaster workshop at Elk Run Farm near Lyons, Colorado.

This was a fantastic learning opportunity and it felt empowering to know we could build with natural materials.

I love permaculture related projects and hearing about what other people are doing.

It feels great to be around people like Kallie, who really enjoy life. Simply, I want to do what makes my soul happy, and that includes connecting and spending time with like-minded people.

We can continue to draw strength from each other, just by meeting and becoming friends and knowing there are other people out there in the world who enjoy the same things we do.

How can we use our creativity to educate?

What are these dancers doing? Find out soon in an upcoming video about my niece, Quetzali Hart.
