We often think that we’re not good enough or smart enough to do the thing that we love, or we don’t make enough time for it and we miss out, not recognizing the we are holding ourselves back. We must come out of our comfort zones and try something new that feeds our souls.
My name is Kate and I am ready to follow my heart into the huge project of making a film. My focus is on transforming 13 years of film into a story about dance and small town life, called “Growing up Dancing: Our Mayama Experience”.
Although I love to film other people, I am not always comfortable being in front of the camera, so this year I am going to step out of my comfort zone and step in front of the camera to see what I can learn.
